Delft – We are proud to see our collaborative quantum-secure network project with Eurofiber, Port of Rotterdam and our consortium partners highlighted by Computable.nl!

Our project was honoured to be named runner-up at the Cybersec Europe Awards 2025 in the category “Best Cybersecurity Project/Program Europe”, a fantastic recognition of the impact and innovation behind this effort.

Thank you Rik Sanders for the article, and Hans den Heijer for sharing our vision on stage and in print.

The photo by Bram Van Roy perfectly captures the energy and momentum behind this milestone, as celebrated on the main stage at Cybersec Europe Awards 2025 that took place on the 22nd of May in Brussels, Belgium, and where the award was presented by Prince Laurent of Belgium. A truly special moment of recognition!

Quantum computing is advancing rapidly, and with it comes a very real threat to today’s cryptography standards. Critical infrastructure like Europe’s busiest ports can’t afford to wait for vulnerabilities to be exploited. This project addresses a key pain point, how do we protect sensitive communications at large scale in the face of quantum threats?!

Through deep collaboration, innovation and pragmatism, we have demonstrated that quantum-secure networking is not just a concept, it’s a working, scalable reality with the deployment of our MDI QKD Falqon® Series. This project is a blueprint for how to secure the digital backbone of modern logistics, starting with one of Europe’s most vital hubs.

Massive thanks to all our consortium partners (Port of Rotterdam, Eurofiber, Single Quantum, Cisco, Portbase, Intermax and InnovationQuarter), and to everyone who helped bring this vision to life!
