Q*Bird Founders Join Techleap’s Pole Position Program to take on the challenges of scaling their deeptech company and drive Q*Bird’s growth forward

Q*Bird’s founding team: CEO Ingrid Romijn, CTO Joshua Slater, and CTIO Remon Berrevoets, is diving into Techleap’s 7th cohort of the Pole Position program, a flagship initiative that’s all about helping deeptech startups tackle the unique challenges of scaling up.

For companies like Q*Bird, growing in the deeptech space isn’t just about having a breakthrough idea. It means navigating complex technology, securing funding, building a solid team, and keeping their team motivated along the way.

In the Pole Position program, Romijn, Slater, and Berrevoets dive into sharpening their market strategies, mapping out their key value chain, and get practical insights on leading a growing company. They’re joining forces with other ambitious founders: Orange Quantum Systems, Fortaegis Technologies, SCIL Nanoimprint Solutions, Qualinx B.V., Incooling, Delft Circuits, QuiX Quantum, and QphoX, to take on big challenges, like securing growth funding, developing their leadership skills, and making strategic decisions for long-term success. The program also links them with experienced entrepreneurs who offer real-world advice and connects them with experts who help shape a clear, actionable roadmap for taking Q*Bird global.

“We’re excited to be part of Pole Position,” says Romijn. “This program pushes us to refine our vision, connect with other founders, and tackle the biggest hurdles as we work toward international growth.”

As they move through Pole Position, Romijn, Slater, and Berrevoets are gaining the tools, insights, and network they need to drive Q*Bird forward, bringing their deeptech QKD (Quantum Key Distribution) innovations closer to making a global impact.
