Overview
Quantum Korea 2025 – Bridging continents with quantum-secure collaboration!
It’s a wrap! Q*BIRD was proud to be part of the first-ever Dutch quantum delegation in Korea at Quantum Korea 2025, an international celebration of innovation, collaboration and the future of quantum technology.
Our CEO & Co-Founder, Ingrid Romijn and Sales & Business Development Lead, Olivier Pfeiffer were on-site at the Netherlands Lounge (Booth A4) in Seoul from 23–27 June 2025, representing Q*BIRD and engaging with Korea’s dynamic and fast-growing quantum ecosystem.
Ingrid brought the Q*BIRD mission to the international stage during a multilateral speaking session and a high-impact pitch session, sharing how our QKD Falqon® Series is delivering scalable, real-world quantum security for critical infrastructure. She also had the pleasure of meeting Peter van der Vliet, the Dutch Ambassador of the Netherlands to Korea, reinforcing our shared commitment to international innovation and collaboration.
Throughout the event, we engaged with leading researchers, government representatives and quantum technology pioneers, all aligned around a common goal, building resilient infrastructure in the quantum era.
With the quantum threat on the horizon, at Q*BIRD, we are focused on building scalable quantum key distribution (QKD) solutions to future-proof critical infrastructure and communication network.
A big thank you to the Quantum Korea organisers and our Dutch Delegation Partners, Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Korea, Netherlands for making this important global dialogue possible and to everyone who stopped by to connect, collaborate and explore the future of quantum-secure communication. From Amsterdam to Seoul, we are proud to help shape what’s next in quantum-secure communication!
