Overview
On 15 April 2025, the Rijksinspectie Digitale Infrastructuur (RDI), in collaboration with the Nationaal Cyber Security Centrum (NCSC-NL) and the IACS coalition, hosted a key conference on Industrial Automation and Control Systems (IACS) and Cybersecurity.
As digitalization of physical processes increases, so do the risks of cyber threats. This urgency is reflected in the Nederlandse Cybersecuritystrategie – NLCS (Dutch Cybersecurity Strategy) and addressed through legislation like the Wet Beveiliging Netwerk- en Informatiesystemen – Wbni (Network and Information Systems Security Act) and its successor, the Cyberbeveiligingswet – NIS2 Directive (Cybersecurity Act).
