Q*Bird had the privilege of participating as a partner at Genval Forum II in Genval, Belgium organised by Vanguard Europe. The Forum brought together policymakers from the European Commission, European Parliament, Member States, NATO and EU strategic allies, alongside tech innovators and the ecosystem focused on strengthening Europe’s resilience, defense and frontier technology innovation. A special thanks to Dan Nechita and Tudor Oprea for the invitation and for bringing together such an impactful event!
Our CEO and Co-Founder, Dr. Ingrid Romijn, presented Q*Bird’s MDI QKD Falqon® Series to key dignitaries and stakeholders, showcasing how scalable quantum key distribution can secure critical infrastructure and national assets in the face of emerging quantum threats.
The Forum highlighted the EU’s strategic objectives, strengthening NATO participation and advancing the defense industrial base, while fostering innovation and protecting democratic values. Genval Forum II provided a unique platform to connect defense tech innovators, policymakers and technical experts, accelerating the development of technologies essential for resilience and defense.
