???? Advancing quantum secure communication as part of BeQCI!????????

We are thrilled to join Belnet’s Quantum Lab Experience as part of BeQCI, bringing together organisations preparing for the quantum secure networks of tomorrow.

Thank you, Belnet, and all partners in the BeQCI project for creating a space where organisations can explore how MDI QKD shapes the next generation of secure communication.

We were proud to contribute to two sessions, with our CTIO and Co-Founder, Remon Berrevoets, highlighting how our MDI QKD Falqon® Series delivers scalable, interoperable and deployment-ready quantum-secure communication, purpose-built for multi-user, multi-node environments across Europe.

???? Followed by our Q*Birder, Manasa Hegde, Software Engineer, who led a live demonstration of our equipment, taking participants deeper into how MDI QKD works in practice and how organisations can prepare for long-term quantum resilience today.

This event builds on our milestone earlier this year, where Q*Bird, together with BeQCI consortium (comprising Belnet, imec, Ghent University among others) and the Luxembourg QCI Lab (LUQCIA) successfully deployed the first cross-border MDI QKD link connecting Belgium and Luxembourg, enabling a 132 km, multi-node quantum-secure network. It marked a significant step toward a scalable, federated EuroQCI infrastructure. ????

The momentum around quantum secure communication is accelerating, and it is inspiring to see critical organisations taking proactive steps toward quantum risk mitigation. Q*Bird is proud to help lead this transition with a scalable, interoperable MDI QKD solution built for today’s networks and tomorrow’s quantum era.

A huge thank you to Jo Segaert, Network Engineer at Belnet, Emmanuel de Vinck, Senior Project Manager at Belnet, Dr. Giacomo Carrara at BeQCI, the entire Belnet team, our project partners and all participants for such an engaging and forward-looking day! ???? ???? ????
